Michal Kondrat is polish director, writer, and producer of christian films. He is graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics. For 5 years worked as a Board Deputy Director at the Polish Radio. Since 2013 has been running the KONDRAT-MEDIA company, which produces and distributes films focused on Christian values. His first directed documentary – “How to defeat the Satan“, won in May 2014, Grand Prix of the XXIX International Film Festival in Niepokalanów. His next documentary distributed in cinemas, “Matteo“, was about a monk, a great exorcist, who died 400 years ago, and now at his grave numerous healings and releases from the possession of the evil spirit take place. Another production by Michał Kondrat was a docudrama “The two Crowns“, about the life of Saint Father Maksymilian Kolbe. The documentary scenes were shot in three countries: Poland, Italy and Japan. Almost 250,000 viewers saw the film in Poland and it was released in theaters in 15 countries. The latest film by Kondrat – “Love and Mercy: Faustina“, dedicated to Saint Faustyna Kowalska and the message of God’s Mercy, has biggest success in Poland than his previous movie. Theatrical rights to the movie till today are sold to about 20 countries. Theatrical released in USA are scheduled for October 28, 20019 in hundreds of cinemas throughout the country.

The production was very successful, both in Poland and abroad. In the United States alone, it was shown in over 800 American cinemas. On the first day it ranked second in the American box office, losing only to the Hollywood blockbuster “Joker”. I am currently working on a feature film entitled “Dusze” (“Souls”) that trace the story of a human soul both during its life and after death. The script was inspired by visions of mystics who were granted to meet with souls in Purgatory. Similar to “Dwie Korony”, “Miłość i Miłosierdzie”, the film will be produced thanks to donations by the benefactors of the St. Maksymilian Kolbe Film Foundation, which produces evangelistic films. You can also support the production of “Souls”

Based on written down visions of Mystics

Another film with christian values, it tells the story of a human soul and its wanderings in the afterlife, in a simple and clear way. The screenplay is based on written experiences of mystics who received a grace of being visited by souls from purgatory, and even for a moment were able to see heaven, hell and purgatory. The topics discussed in the film will focus on both souls still living in the human bodies and those that have already left the earthly world. By presenting real situations of the souls suffering in purgatory, it will help us understand the meaning of prayer for the dead, and what our target in the earthly life should be. The film will also be a source of relevant knowledge of the subject, as well as a visual and musical feast for anyone who would sit in front of the screen. Extensive experience of experts will give a broad view on aspects related to the topics of a human soul, death and life after death in heaven, hell or purgatory.
The message of the film “Souls” will get everyone to think about the topic, without any pressure or confusion involved. We perfectly understand that even the most important knowledge must be presented in an accessible way, that’s why we are going to take you to an amazing film story. You can support this production on our’s foundation page Our foundation is focused on producing christian films.
